Bio
Born under the spell of the Atlantic Ocean, in a land of poets and sailors, Miguel is a Portuguese artist who’s a real jack-of-all-trades. He’s got a degree in science from Portugal, a Masters in Communication from the UK, and has traveled extensively in Europe, Africa, and South America. Now, he’s running a super cool startup in the Amazon Rainforest, where he’s combining media production with regenerative solutions, providing support to creatives and companies that are interested to work in the greatest tropical forest of the world.
His multimedia projects have been featured in some pretty impressive outlets like AJ+, NowThis, Tactical Tech, Mongabay, Público, Dodho, New Internationalist, and O Globo. His photography was part of the Cultural Agenda for the Rio Olympics in 2016, and other solo and collective exhibitions in other parts of the world. And if that wasn’t enough, he’s even acted in TV and movies (HBO, FOX, GLOBO, CHANNEL 4, etc.) in eight different countries and five different languages. Talk about a Renaissance man!

Nascido sob o feitiço do Oceano Atlântico, numa terra de poetas e marinheiros, Miguel é um premiado artista português. Graduado em ciências (Portugal), Mestrado em Comunicação (UK), passou anos viajando pela Europa, África e América do Sul. Hoje em dia ele comanda uma startup super bacana na Floresta Amazônica, onde combina produção de mídia com soluções regenerativas, dando suporte a criativos e empresas interessadas em trabalhar na maior floresta tropical do mundo.
Seus projetos multimídia foram publicados em lugares como AJ+, NowThis, Tactical Tech, Mongabay, Público, Dodho, New Internationalist ou O Globo. Sua fotografia fez parte da Agenda Cultural para os Jogos Olímpicos do Rio em 2016, e tem integrado exposições individuais e coletivas em vários lugares do mundo. E se isso não bastasse, atuou ainda em TV e Cinema (HBO, FOX, GLOBO, CHANNEL 4, …) em oito países e em cinco idiomas diferentes. Um homem do mundo!
